    It should be intuitive and easy to get done what you are trying to do

    Every page should offer useful information and/or a capability that you care about

  • Clean design

    Good design is subjective and yet I try to present things in an un-cluttered way

  • Reliable

    A website is only good and useful if it's alive and well - downtime not advised

  • Mobile-first

    Small screens can be hard to design for, so I prioritize that experience first

  • Secure

    Safe defaults, data protection, and security best practices are built in from the start

  • Accessible

    Clear structure, strong contrast, and keyboard-friendly flows make the site usable for more people
